Mixing 1⁄4 teaspoon salt in 1 cup warm water. (Heat the water at a temperature that you can comfortably consume). Gargle every hour or two for effective results.
2. Lemon Water Treatment for a Smooth Throat
Mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice in 1 cup of water for this home remedy for sore throats. The astringent juice will help to contract swollen throat tissue and form an antagonistic environment for viruses and bacteria.
3. Hot Sauce and Water Solution
The capsicum in hot peppers helps to ease the pain and fights inflammation. Add five shakes of ground cayenne pepper (or a few shakes of hot sauce) to a cup of hot water for a sore throat It’ll burn, but try to gargle every 15 minutes and let the hot peppers work as a counter to your condition.

7. Apple Cider Vinegar and Salt
If your throat feels dry by a bad cough, give your throat an acidic coating with the help of apple cider vinegar. The germs can’t survive when there is an acidic coating on your throat.
Gargle with 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 teaspoon of salt dissolved in a glass of warm water.
Repeat the process several times a day, if needed. For a mild treatment, combine 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar and 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 tablespoon every four hours.
